Since some HTC devices still not getting the Lollipop upgrade, most of the mobile owners are disappointed with the company activity. However, the reason behind the HTC dumbness is recently revealed. They are going to skip the Lollipop update and planned to upgrade its device to the new Android M (Marshmallow) operating system.
What are all the HTC devices will get the Android M 6.0 (Marshmallow) with Sense UI 7:
Unlike the Android Lollipop update, HTC involved in this matter and officially announced the list of Android M upgradable devices. Below is the list of Android smartphones which going to receive Android 6.0 Marshmallow update with the Sense UI.
HTC One M9+, One M9, One M8, E9+, E9, E8, M8 Eye and One ME.
HTC Butterfly 3.
HTC Desire 820, Desire 826 and Desire 816.
The another surprise with the Android M 6.0 is, the upgrade package available with the beautiful Sense UI 7 too. Moreover, this is the preliminary list of devices which going to receive the Marshmallow update and therefore, an additional list of devices will be added in the next phase.

When will devices get Android M 6.0 and Sense UI 7 update?
Unfortunately, HTC did not comment about the Android M 6.0 roll out scheduled date. According to the twitter feeds, they promise to bring the Marshmallow update within 2015 for the One M9 and One M8 devices. After that, other devices will get the upgrade slowly. The other details about the HTC Android update schedule will be announced on October 2o, 2o15.
