ES file explorer Now brings inbuilt junk cleaner for Android

ES File Explorer is one of the most popular and best Android apps available on the Google Play Store. If you are a power Android User, I hope you do not need any further explanations about this app. ES file explorer not only acts as a file manager but also connect your mobile in LAN connection, explore your Android TV, transfer files through FTP, music play and even more on with this app.

In addition to this, ES File Explorer or manager now added the Junk cleaner on the list. This inbuilt junk cleaner sweep junks on various areas like Thumbnail, Obsolete APK, Applications cache like what the professional app do.

How you can free up mobile junk space using ES File Explorer or manager:

As we said earlier, if you mobile phone installed with the ES File Manager or Explorer, then you do not need to install any third party junk cleaner anymore. To free up yours smartphone junk space,

Download and install the latest ES File Explorer or above from the below link.

Launch that newly updated ES File Explorer and Go to the Homepage of the App. Apparently, the first windows of the app will be the Homepage of ES file manager.

In that app’s homepage window, you can witness the Clean now button as like below.  Just tap on that button. ES cleaner app gets initiated, and it will take care of the remaining things.

Guide to disable or the inbuilt Junk cleaner in ES File Explorer File Manager:

Solution 1:

Currently, the free version of this app not having option to disable the inbuilt Junk cleaner in ES file Explorer File manager.  If you want to get rid of this bloatware, you have to buy the Paid version of this app in Google Play Store.

Solution 2:

If you do not want to buy the Paid version and want to stick with the ES file Explorer File manager free version, you can downgrade the app’s current version to 4.0.2.3. Uninstall the latest ES File explorer version, search Google ES File Explorer File manager 4.0.2.3 and install it.

Solution 3:

If you do not want to use neither paid version nor obsolete version, you better go with the some other alternative file manager. FX file manager and Solid Explorer is the good alternative for ES file manager.

What you can do more with the ES File Explorer File Manager:

Add cloud storage providers:

Unlike the default file manager, you can also add your online storage place like Dropbox, Box or Google Drive into your ES file manager. To add, tap on the three dashed menu bar and Go to Network->Cloud. Now, tap on your cloud storage provider from the list and provide your Credentials. After successful login, ES File Explorer will be getting started to show your cloud files within your Android file manager.

Connect Android mobile phone to your LAN connection:

Now, you can connect your Android phone to the LAN connection wirelessly as like connections between PCs. The LAN connection helps you to view and share files with a device from another device. This feature helps you to view all your computer files on your Android smartphone with a single tap. To add your Android mobile on LAN connection, Follow below steps.

Connect your devices to the same network to establish the successful LAN connection among devices.

Again tap on the three dashed Action menu, Go to the Network and LAN.

Now, tap on the + symbol that is located at the bottom right corner. Enter your computer’s IP, username, and password on respective fields and hit the OK button. If everything went fine, ES File Explorer would start to show your computer files.

View your Android mobile phone files on your Computer with ES File Explorer’s Remote Manager feature:

With the help of ES File Explorer, you can also view your Android mobile phone’s files wirelessly on your computer. If you want to see or copy your smartphone’s files on your computer without connecting with the data cable, go to the ES file manager action bar->Networks and tap on the Remote Manager.

Once you tap on that, a new window will get opened and may prompt you to turn on the feature. Just click on the Turn on the button and immediately you will get an FTP address.

Type that FTP address on your any browser’s address bar and hit enter. Hurray… Now you can see all of your Android phone’s files right now on your computer.

View your Android TV files on your Android phone with ES file Explorer File manager:

Along with the features above, you can also see your Android TV files using this file manager. To see your Android TV’s images, videos, songs or apps on your smartphone, Go to Three dashed action bar again and select Network->Android TV.

Note: If your Android TV is not listing on that window, please make sure that you have enabled the Remote debug in Developer options under TV settings.

    How can I disable the junk cleaner? Love the file browser, but the cleaner is terribly annoying.

    I used the cleaner today.
    Results is all my pictures (on external SD) are gone…
    Any ideas?
